Electrical Repairs & Troubleshooting in Temecula & Murrieta, CA
Call or text Eloy. (760) 703-9446
Half the kitchen outlets died, the bedroom breaker trips when the microwave runs, the lights dip when the AC starts. Troubleshooting was a big part of Eloy's years on commercial and industrial sites before he opened Hardy Electric, and it is the same discipline at a house: meter out, circuit traced, the loose neutral or burnt connection found and repaired, not a new breaker thrown at the symptom. Hardy Electric is open 24 hours, call or text, and the person who answers the phone is the one who shows up. Licensed, CSLB #1146740.
01The Work
What Eloy gets called for
Dead and partial power. Outlets that quit, a whole room out while the breaker looks fine, a GFCI that trips and will not reset, a backstabbed receptacle that finally let go. These get found with a meter and a tracer, not by guessing. A loose connection at the panel, a failed breaker, a bad splice in a ceiling box, a corroded exterior outlet feeding the garage: Eloy finds the one that failed and repairs it properly.
Warning signs and the thermal camera. A burning smell at an outlet or the panel, a breaker warm to the touch, flicker across the whole house, scorch marks on a cover plate. Call about these the day you notice them. Eloy carries a thermal imaging camera and will put it on a panel or a connection that looks off, often at no charge, because heat is the earliest sign that something is failing. He treats a customer's family's safety the way he treats his own.
Code corrections and older panels. The electrical items on a home inspection report before a sale: missing GFCI and AFCI protection, double-tapped breakers, open junction boxes, ungrounded three-prong outlets, reversed polarity. Eloy works from the report and fixes what is on it. If a repair call turns up a Zinsco, Federal Pacific or Pushmatic panel, he will say so, explain what it means, and let you decide.

03How Long
Most troubleshooting calls are found and fixed in one visit. Hardy Electric is open 24 hours, and a Friday afternoon call has meant a Saturday morning visit more than once. If a part has to be ordered or a wall has to be opened, you know before it happens.
04What It Costs
Troubleshooting is billed for the time it takes to find the fault, and the repair is quoted before it starts. Estimates are free, and a thermal look at a panel that worries you usually is too.
Quoted before the work starts. The number agreed is the number paid.
